The event was inaugurated by Mr. C V Sankar, Additional Chief Secretary, Govt. of Tamil Nadu who shared the details of the strategy being followed by Govt. of Tamil Nadu to retain its lead in manufacturing and providing due importance to the ESDM sector.

Mr. Sankar emphasized the need for greater investment in the high value added segments of electronics including raw materials and components.
