SEMI University Courses

SEMI University is an online learning platform built for and by the semiconductor manufacturing and electronics industry. This platform for online semiconductor learning responds to the professional learning and development needs of SEMI members and new semiconductor industry entrants worldwide. With comprehensive and focused online semiconductor course catalog, SEMI University reduces the need for companies to invest their own resources in developing training. ELCINA has an MOU with SEMI for development of Semiconductor Eco-system in India. For this, ELCINA collaborates with SEMI University for providing online courses to Indian students and professional who desires to enrich their knowledge base.

Following Courses are free for everyone, and we will soon include other courses.

  • Creative Computing-Introduction to Scratch Programming
Course Name Creative Computing-Introduction to Scratch Programming
Course Description In this course, we are going to learn about Scratch Programming, which is an educational programming language with a graphical interface. It was created as a tool to make programming easy and intuitively understandable. Its purpose was to allow users without any programming experience to learn the basic principles of imperative and multi-threading programming and hopefully encourage them to continue in other languages. Naturally, its application is limited to fun and educational projects. When people code in Scratch, they learn important strategies for solving problems, designing projects, and communicating ideas. This is a self-paced eLearning module and comprises a mixture of written passages and interactive blocks. This course uses interactive information blocks and knowledge checks. You are expected to complete each section to receive the completion credits.
    Course Objectives
    • Launch the Scratch canvas to create a project.
